Recently several turbo miracles happened that i cant resist to share with the intrested members. I found some turbo items in a matter of several days that would take tens of years apart to find them. Some items i didnt even know existed or if i did in what form. Here is the story of my trip that took several days in Turbo Space: I start with most "boring" item among the recent items: Many additions to the turbo super cards series. I found the cards through several sources and getting close to completion of the 1-55 series. Here the interesting part is the unnumbered "Gold" cards. I knew they existed but i didnt have much hopes to find them as even in internet you hardly see them. In 70's and 80's the Turkish match producers had agreements with certain companies to produce matchboxes with their advertisements. The well known "Malazlar" Match company had an agreement with Kent at one point so there were match boxes produced with the brand names like Tofita, Topitop... and Turbo! Probably late 80's, hard to tell what year. The design is simple , a bit power cover looking just the turbo brand name and the usual helmet only. Background colors are different and i have now 3 different Turbo matchboxes. Earlier in my posts i have uploaded the game board but i never knew if Kent issued only the board and the kids had to gather the play tools or not, ( the turbo super cards, the floptark cards that came in gum packs etc.) Now i know Kent offered it as a full game set. The most interesting part of course is the box. It measures 25x17x3cm. so smaller than normal board games. The top of the box shows the name Turbo in big letters, the name of the game set (Bilcark), images of turbo super cards, floptrak tasos and a round dial thats used in the play. The bottom of the box gives the list of contents through images: the game board (2 sided), 10 Turbo super cards, 5 Turbo super gold cards, 10 floptark tasos, 2 round dials, instructions sheets and 10 Turbo super gums(2003 type). First i thought it was a gift sent to kids by Kent but looking at the writings on the box, and because it includes gums i think this was an item sold in shops. Another item that went right under noses. Its well played and missing some items but still very good. |

Sure enough it was only a few days before i found a large group of them.
