He was the creator of this series : http://wrappers.ru/?act=coll&acm=coll&id=410 There was a nice word game here. His last name (Gulgec) means ‘Laugh and pass’ or ‘Laugh and go’, very fitting to a caricaturist. So he created this series Gul-Dur-Gec from his last name, which means ‘make him or her laugh, and go’. He was drawing caricatures regularly for the daily newspaper Cumhuriyet. The paper gives his news of his death today with the words : ‘He laughed at the world and went’. Just some small information for collectors who are interested in a little more than just getting that missing number. Here is a recent drawing from him in today’s paper in memory of him.
